LOVE AS WE KNOW IT

"Hey Tory,come check out my new design." Lamar called out to her bestie taking a last look at her drawing."Looking good right?" Not even bothering to wait for a reply from her friend,she rambled on."You know what,I just figured out my talent.I'd sure come out the world's greatest artist soon.Come on,take a good look at this" She further boasted.
"I'm proud of you" Tory answered with a smile.
"That's all you have to say? Lamar questioned obviously not expecting that.No hype,no nothing? I can't believe this.I've always known you to be the jealous type that wants nothing good for me.And you know what,I don't even blame you.I blame those fake friends you've been moving with.
It hasn't got to this.Tory tried to calm her best friend down but Lamar was definitely not ready to be calm.
I've been meaning to tell you this and I guess now is the time.This friendship is over! Have a wonderful life.And with this,she picked up her drawing,shoved it in her bag and stormed out of the classroom.
It was like a realization dawned on her as she began to think,tears almost dropping from her eyes."I thought we loved each other "
Love! Love! Love!
When you are in love,it's actually a great feeling.
Love is a strong affection.It is a feeling one has for someone or something.Yeah,you must have heard that definition so many times.Do you all know what true love is? True love is God's love.

The Bible itself tells us that "GOD IS LOVE" 1John4:8 says;He that loveth not knoweth not God,for God is Love.God loves us simply because he loves us.You might go through some things and ask questions like;Does God even love me? Yes He does.He wants the very best for you.That is God's Love.Also,1John4:9 explains that God sent his only begotten son into the world,that we might live through him.This is God's love! God's love is everlasting,God's love is unending.If you still doubts God's love,your faith will not last long.To put an end to your doubts,why don't you study these Bible verses;1John4:8,Deuteronomy7:9,John3:16,1John4:8-11,1John3:1.I could go on listing Bible verses for you to see God's love.Please,study these Bible verses and stop doubting God's love.God's love is true!
Before you love anyone,know where,how your love,your relationship is with God.Gone are those days where people choose to go into a relationship because they see beauty and they believe they have fallen in love.Love is not story telling of how you found yourself lost in love,dating someone is not love,love is not about kissing,hugging,sending romantic quotes.Love is way more than these gibberish!

 "I LOVE YOU" This is a very strong and deep statement.Coupled with the kind of emojis we use while chatting.Let's learn to use the right emojis with the opposite sex when the feeling is mutual.Sending "❤" can make so many people feel happy,yeah and at the end,their hearts would get shattered because they probably expected more.Meanwhile,you actually didn't mean it that way.
So many teenagers have dealt and are still dealing with heart breaks.For as many teenagers out there that would be reading this,I'd like you all to know Love is a great feeling.Why don't you give up on having trust issues and take the courage to fall in love.And please,I'm not trying to imply that falling in love is all about having a girlfriend or boyfriend to be in a relationship.No!
The Bible tells us in James2:8 that;love your neighbors as you love thyself.For goodness sake,love is not all about dating.Tell them you love them,let them know you care about them.Do not use the sentence "I LOVE YOU" only for your partners.For as many of them that would see "I love you" as wanting a relationship and that's not what you think,let them know it is not that way and you genuinely love them.Please people,love your neighbors.There is honestly no time to waste in the world anymore.Keep your pride,celebrate your friends(If necessary actually)tell your friends you love them and do not joke about love.If you act this way(showing love sincerely),you simply fulfilling the royal law according to the scripture.Also study Hebrews13:1,Romans12:10,John15:12.
Love your heavenly Father before you love any man.A man who tells you "I love you even more than God" and you blushing about it,I'm sorry to say sister,you have met the devil himself! Also study 1John2:15.
For as many that would love to go into a relationship,why don't you talk to God and pray about it first.Fall in love with someone you would get comfortable with,fall in love with someone who would love you despite your flaws;They would accept you the way you are.Fall in love with someone who sees a greater you in future,fall in love with someone who is positive minded.And most importantly,fall in love with someone who knows God.I believe with God's directions,you will surely get the right partner.
 Remember seek God's love first before you choose to love any living thing.
